Lobo Volleyball Wraps Up Successful Spring SeasonThe University of New Mexico volleyball team finished the 2008 spring season with a 10-3 record, following last weekend's 3-1 performance at the UNLV Spring Tournament. 182 Lobos Honored For Work In The ClassroomThe University of New Mexico Athletics Department recently honored 182 Lobo student-athletes at the Fifth Annual Student-Athlete Academic Awards Celebration. Student-athletes were recognized for excellence in the classroom by maintaining a 3.20 or higher cumulative grade point average and excellence as active members of their team. 16 student-athletes are currently maintaining a 4.0 or higher cumulative grade point average.4/8/2008
Lobo Club Announces 2007-08 Student-Athletes of YearThe Lobo Club recently announced its 2007-08 University of New Mexico Student-Athletes of the Year at the 2008 membership drive kickoff event. Lobo Volleyball Presents Annual AwardsUniversity of New Mexico volleyball coach Jeff Nelson recently announced the 2007 team awards at the Lobos annual postseason banquet. Junior Jeanne Fairchild was presented the Cherry & Silver Award as the team's most valuable player and sophomore Allie Suiter was presented the Scholastic Award as the team's top student in 2007. |
