Women's Tennis Announces Two Additions

University of New Mexico women's tennis head coach Kathy Kolankiewicz announced today that two recruits have signed National Letters of Intent. Eliane G. Bourdages and Manumea M. Durie have both chosen to play collegiate tennis at New Mexico and will join the team in August.

Lobos Fall To UNLV In MWC Women's Tennis Semifinals

The two-seeded UNLV rebels earned a trip to the finals of the 2008 Mountain West Conference Women's Tennis Championships on Friday with a 4-0 win over No. 3 New Mexico at the Bayard H. Friedman Tennis Center. New Mexico's season ends at 15-9 overall while the Rebels improved to 16-8 on the season.

The University of New Mexico women's tennis team was one of 46 NCAA Division I teams in the sport to receive an NCAA public recognition award for their latest multi-year Academic Progress Rate (APR) score.

New Mexico Advances To MWC Women's Tennis Semifinals

No. 3 New Mexico defeated sixth-seeded San Diego State by a score of 4-2 on Thursday in the quarterfinals of the 2008 Mountain West Conference Women's Tennis Championships at the Bayard H. Friedman Tennis Center. The Lobos improved to 15-8 overall this season with the win.

Abou-Zekry and Scott Earn All-Conference Honors

The University of New Mexico women's tennis team earned two All- MWC honors for the 2007-08 season. Ola Abou-Zekry was named all-conference in both singles and on the doubles team with partner Lucy Scott.
