2008 NCAA® Women's Golf Championships Come to Albuquerque
The University of New Mexico is proud to host the 2008 NCAA® Women's Golf Championships May 20-23 at the UNM Championship Golf Course. A total of 24 teams and six individuals will compete over four days on the sport's largest stage to see who will reign supreme in the world of collegiate women's golf. This is the second time the UNM Championship Golf Course has hosted the NCAA® women's championships. The 1987 finals were held here with San Jose State taking a one-stroke victory over Furman with a score of 1,187. The top five schools were separated by just five shots. New Mexico's Caroline Keggi won medalist honors with a 289. The University of New Mexico also hosted the NCAA® men's championships in 1976, 1992 and 1998. Schedule of Events
