TCU Slides By New Mexico To Capture MWC MEN'S TENNIS CHAMPIONSHIP

The TCU Horned Frogs rallied to defeat the New Mexico Lobos by a score of 4-3 on Saturday to capture the 2008 Mountain West Conference Men's Tennis Championship at the Bayard H. Friedman Tennis Center. The Horned Frogs (20-7) notched their 20th win of the year, while the Lobos slipped to 20-8.

New Mexico Earns Trip To 2008 MWC Men's Tennis Finals

Second-seeded New Mexico posted a 4-0 shutout win over No. 6 San Diego State on Friday at the 2008 Mountain West Conference Men's Tennis Championships at the Bayard H. Friedman Tennis Center to punch its ticket to the finals on Saturday. The Lobos notched their 20th (20-7) victory of the season with Friday's victory.

New Mexico Defeats Air Force At MWC Men's Tennis Tournament

No. 2 New Mexico shut out seventh-seeded Air Force by a score of 4-0 on Thursday in the quarterfinals of the 2008 Mountain West Conference Men's Tennis Championships at the Bayard H. Friedman Tennis Center. The Lobos improved to 19-7 overall this season with the win.

Alan Dils Named MWC Coach Of The Year

The University of New Mexico men's tennis head coach Alan Dils was named Coach of the Year by the MWC for the 2007-08 season. Three student-athletes were named to the singles All-MWC team while two doubles teams garnered honors.
