Men's Soccer Kicks Off Spring Season Saturday

The University of New Mexico men's soccer team kicks off its spring season this weekend when it hosts Air Force and Fort Lewis on Robertson Field Saturday. The Lobos take on the Falcons at 9:00 a.m. (M.D.T.), followed by a 3:00 p.m. match against the SkyHawks. The Lobos will also make three trips during the spring semester, including matches at Wake Forest and Duke. UNM takes on the defending NCAA Champ Demon Deacons in Winston Salem, N.C. on Friday, April 11, at 5:00 p.m. (M.D.T.). The Lobos then travel to Durham, N.C., for a 10:00 a.m. match against the Blue Devils on Sunday, April 13. New Mexico heads south to El Paso, Texas, for a pair of matches the following weekend. UNM faces the Premier Development League's El Paso Patriots on Friday, April 18 at 5:00 p.m. (M.D.T.) and the Juarez-Indios on Sunday, April 20 at noon. UNM is also slated to face Major League Soccer's Colorado Rapids in late April. The match will take place in Denver, Colo., with the exact date and time still to be determined.
