Powerful third-year punter who has displayed good potential during practice...will open fall camp backing up Jordan Scott once again and, like Scott, he could also be used for field goals and kickoffs...nailed a 39-yard FG on his only attempt in the 2007 Cherry-Silver spring game...one of the most powerful kickers in program history...set a position record this past spring with a power clean of 318 pounds...tied for the group lead with a 385-lb. squat...has added 12 pounds to his 6-2 frame over the past year...also spent some time at linebacker when he walked onto the team in the fall of 2005 before settling in at punter...redshirted the `05 season.

HIGH SCHOOL:

A 2005 graduate of Santa Fe St. Michael's HS...two-time all-state punter...also earned all-state honors at kicker and defensive end as a junior...helped the Horsemen win the state 3A title in 2003 and advance to the championship game on '04...four-year letterman under head coach Joey Fernandez...also lettered four years in basketball and three years each in track and golf.
