Mayfield High School...first team all-state WR who helped Mayfield to the Class 5A state title in 2005...the Trojans were undefeated, finishing 14-0...Hernandez caught 70 passes for 1,084 yards and 10 TDs for an offense that generated more than 4,700 yards and 30 points a game...played for head coach Jim Bradley...second team all-state at free safety as well...also participated in basketball and track.
