2007: (outdoor) Became the 2nd UNM woman and first since 1997 to qualify for the NCAA Championships in the javelin...finished 16th overall with a throw of 156-07 - 3 feet shy of advancing to the finals...had thrown over 160 feet in 5 straight meets leading up to the NCAA Championships...captured the MWC title in San Diego with a mark of 162-02 to become the first UNM women's conference champ in the event...earned an at-large bid to the national meet after placing 6th (163-02) at the NCAA Midwest Regional Championships in Des Moines and recording the 11th-best mark in the nation...was listed as high as 8th in the Trackwire.com national meet projections after breaking former All-American Sarah Nicholson's 11-year-old school record with a throw of 169-10 (51.77m) on April 14 at UTEP...the mark was the 9th-best by an American woman during the spring, ranked 3rd on the MWC all-time list and earned her MWC Athlete of the Week honors for the first time...finished 3rd in the section A competition at the Texas Relays (158-00), defeating Georgia All-Americans Sigrun Fjeldsted and Krista Woodward...also defeated Texas A&M All-American Jessica Wingfield in a win at USC on March 24.

2006: (outdoor) Enjoyed a tremendous rookie season and was at her peak when it mattered most at the end of the year...finished 2nd at the MWC Championships, behind two-time national champion Dana Pounds of Air Force, with a season-best throw of 161-11...finished 7th, four spots higher than her seed, two weeks later at the NCAA Midwest Regional Championships with a mark of 159-07...was one of the last athletes left out of the NCAA javelin competition...improved by nearly 24 feet during the course of the season, bettering her top mark in each of her final three meets...notched 6 top-3 finishes in her 8 competitions...a winner in her collegiate debut at Arizona and again at home at the Don Kirby Invite...Academic All-MWC honoree.

A 2005 graduate of Ruidoso (N.M.)
