Highlights: Jaime was selected as the Special Olympics New Mexico 2007 Athlete of the Year, and was awarded the honor during out 2007 State Summer Games in May. She helped carry the torch during the Law Enforcement Torch Run to start the Summer Games, and also earned a gold medal in the 4x100M relay. Jaime will be competing later this year in bowling at the 2007 Holiday Classic in Las Cruces on November 16th – 17th.

French Mortuary has been celebrating life in our community for 100 years this year. They are strong supporters of UNM student athletes and Special Olympics because each of them shares common values with French: commitment to one's best, courage, honor, integrity and teamwork. In honor of this, French Mortuary will be recognizing 22 Special Olympians during the course of the Lobo Football and Basketball Seasons.
