Senior Jeremy Johnson is this week's Qwest Student-Athlete of the Week. Johnson the Lobo men's cross country team with a season best fourth place finish at the Pre-Nationals Invitational last weekend. The 2007 outdoor track All-American had his best finish of the season and broke his own program record on the 8,000-meter course with a time of 23:27 - just 24 seconds behind the race winner.

Johnson has recorded top-10 finishes in both of his races this season and will be one of the favorites to win the men's individual title in two weeks at the Mountain West Conference Championships in San Diego.
