Senior men's soccer goalkeeper Mike Graczyk is this week's Qwest Student-Athlete of the Week. Graczyk, a preseason All-American, guided the Lobos to two big road wins over the weekend. He posted shutouts at Cal State Northridge 4-0 and No. 12 San Francisco 2-0, lowering his season goals-against-average to 0.88. He now has 27 career shutouts, making him the all-time leader in that category at New Mexico.

For his play, Graczyk was named to the CollegeSoccerNews.com National Team of the Week. A two-time All-Mountain Pacific Sports Federation honoree, Graczyk came into the season with a school record 0.64 g.a.a. He has led UNM to a 5-3-0 start to the 2007 season, including a No. 22 national ranking.
